Overall the Hellion is a very strong ship and is very cheap considering how strong it is with four turrets that can focus fire nearly any target and five broadside ports. Delta is the other belly mounted turret, located in the posterior third of the ship and has an unrestricted firing arc. Gamma is on the belly of the ship, about a third of way back from the nose and has its firing arc obstructed by the belly of the ship slightly which prevents it from shooting targets directly behind you. Alpha and Beta turrets are located on the spine of the ship with Alpha being on the posterior third of the ship and Beta being nearly on the nose of the ship. These are considered tier 2 modules and these modules will respawn new turrets after one gets removed effectively giving you unlimited turrets to use.

Its three of its four turrets have full 360 degree firing arc and the fourth only has trouble hitting targets directly behind you. The best way to find turrets for your own ship or base is to find a module with on already in it and bring it back to your base provided your base has a CM attached. If you haven't planned to go on the shady side, raising your Red Devil Cartel influence may take so long that you find you have enough money for larger ships like the Scarab by the time you can afford a Hellion which may make it less appealing. With four turrets, the Hellion is a great entry level turret ship and can be worth the effort to increase your Red Devil Cartel influence for if you've planned to go for this ship. Relatively nimble, with five broadside ports and superior hull plating, it suffers from only one secondary slot and low cargo capacity. The Hellions were a team of teenaged mutants who were recruited by the powerful telepath Emma Frost and trained educationally and in the use of their powers at her private school the Massachusetts Academy. I put my station together, I go out and scavenge a few spare parts, maybe mine a little and then at some point I want to explore and the first non-outpost station that I visit a turret. I have played the start of the game 20 times.

This means that turrets in most modules that you will come across will be offline and safe to pick up. First and foremost their effective range has been increased to 50 meters, but they now also have a power requirement in order to work (tied to the base module consumption). To increase the travelling speed, they use their own turrets as afterburners. Turret HP will get a buff soon, to make them more of a threat when raiding someone. Speaking of dangerous locations, turrets have also been changed.

Obviously, such turrets would not respawn once destroyed. For instance, building a machinegun would cost 150 bullets, a plasma turret 75 cells, and a rocket turret 50 rockets. Each turret would cost an amount of its ammo category to spawn. Throwing a trail of fire incinerates the enemies, mostly zerg units, to ashes. The primary fire button would spawn the turret, while secondary would cycle between turret types.
